Time never relents on its steps. I thought it would be a long month, but now it is the end of the fifth week.
In the past five weeks, I think I learned lots of stuff, not only knowledge, and got many experience. Without a doubt, come here for five weeks is one of tah best choices I’ve ever made. Not only because I can feel the British classroom at mosphere in advance, or improve my English ability, but also, here, Imet lots of friends who let me feel warm, happiness, and not lonely.

Jamie is my first tutor, he’s very enthusiastic, helped me to solve the problem that I was confused about. He’ll always encourage us in class, which gives me a lot of courage and confidence. He interact with us positively, affirm all our ideas and give us his own opinions. I really appreciate everything he’s done for us in these five weeks.

And I must to say, all of my friends are really really perfect. Whether they come from the same country with me or different countries, I still feel happiness and joy for them. That feeling just like the sun gives you a huge, it will warm you from your heart. Even I’m in different country, need to work hard till mid-night, but I didn’t feel too hard, because I know I’m not alone.

I’m appreciate that I can join the course of UCA, after the five weeks, I’m looking forward to formal course life in Cantebury, and have some plans for future. First, I want to made lots of friends, which means I can have lots of fun. Second, I need to working hard, you entered the university, must learn some knowledge, or just wasteing your time. At last, I want travel to neighboring countries during holidays. I really love travelling, you can learn many knowledge that school can’t teach you, see many beautiful scenery, make lots of friends from different countries, enjoy the beauty and colourful of the world.
The three artists I chose were: Kuma Kengo, Jean Nouvel, William McDonough.
Kuma Kengo is a Japanese architect, he has won many domestic or international awards. His concept is to make buildings disappear in nature. Try to eliminate the sense of existence of the building with the disorderly building, and integrate with the surrounding chaotic environment. His architectural theory is based on the leading role of people, architecture as a supporting role, not to destory the environment, through the building to find the harmony between human and nature.
Representative works include the commune-bamboo house at the foot of the Great Wall in Beijing, Lotus House in Japan, etc.

Jean Nouvel is a French architect, own many awards, he’s the winner of the Wolf Prize in 2005 and the Pritzker of 2008. He said that”Architecture begins in the interior, with the pleasure of living.” creating delightful interior spaces. While each project is different, it always presents a subtle game between light and shadow, and a harmonious balance with its surroundings. Sustainable development works like Dentsu Tower,2003 in Tokyo.

William McDonough is an American architect born in Japan, he has won Pritzker and other awards, sometimes he referred to as “The leading environmental architect of our time”. A relationship he believes is only sustainable through a symbiotic attitude, he said: What I’m trying to look at is how do we make human supportive of the nature world, the way the nature world is supportive us. His building has a specific life span, but after its disintegration, its core can be used in other designs. ICE House is a good example, in a few weeks, it will be torn down and rebuilt in another place.

That’s all, thank you for watching!
Before I went to Tate Modern, I searched the Interenet for lots of information and pictures. The visual effects of many exhibitions are very attractive, so I’m really looking forward to this trip.

We went to an exhibition called ‘ IN REAL LIFE ‘. Many of Eliasson’s works deal with nature and weather. Like Wave Machine, 1995. It replicates natural phenomena. The others are (Moss wall, 1994), (No Night In Summer, No Days In Winter, 1994),(Your uncertain shadow(colour), 2010) etc.

There is also an exhibition outside, called Water fall, 2019. Like a huge waterfall in the middle of the city, combing nature with modern technology.

Finally, I read Eliasson’s sketch book. I thought my sketch book was as different from his as a giant and a child. There are a lot of pictures and calculation formulas. I feel that art is not simple, it is the conclusion of the author after very complicated thinking. It takes heart to understand the meaning.

In addition, I went to other free exhibitions. Also have their sketch book, which was very wonderful, let me praise. One of the pieces I found very interesting, like seaweed and faeces together(It’s actually a faeces).

At the beginning of the class, the teacher asked us to make our own sketch book, and any idea can be put on it. This is my first class sketch book.

I was not used to express my ideas in the sketch book at first, but with the acceleration of the project , the content of my sketch book gradually enriched.
This is JR, a street artist in the second class. Iwas deeply impressed by his huge works of art.

These are some preliminary thoughts about the project

This is the library scene I thought was great when I studied in the library and the research process I did.

Sketch book can also help me improve my painting ability and help me to think more clearly. If I continue todrow, it will be a very interesting book!
Thanks for your watching!
To find project information,Jamine lead us to library, and help us to search on the Internet. He took me to the computer in the library, show me how to use a computer to type in keywords and find the book I want. It’s really convenient!
I wrote down the key words related to my project in advance, and then after type the words on Google,I can browse to what I’m looking for.The picture or article on the network, everybody can read or check, find inspiration, but absolutely cannot copy them!Plagiarism is a very serious form of cheating,it’s unfair to the author and others.

Through searching on the Internet and books,it can help you think from other perception, have an overall consideration.

I found lots of useful stuff on the Internet, like some reference book, and the thrust of my project.
The number of books in the library is not very much, but the variety is rich and useful.I found two books about my subject, climate change, which was provides really good example.

Love the atmosphere of the library,is very quiet, really helpful to my study.

Before I went to Margate,I image and search a lot. When we arrived there, the weather actually not very well, but I know it’s normal in UK.

This building is Turner Contemporary, here’re some photos of Margate’s history, some story about seaside.

After visting the mesum,we walking to a red building ,is the Old Kent Market,it’s not very big,but there’s a bus inside the market! That’s intresting! And then, we have a lunch.Lunch wasn’t delicious, bread was very hard and beef was salty. But the view was good! You can see the road ,the blue sky and people outside.

After lunch,we heard a sound,it cames from a little bell tower, just nearby the seaside.

I also went to the seaside! That really fun!Sky was like a blue diamond, and Sand was so soft!

Last little time,we just walk by the sea,do some research and some sketch book.that’s really comfortable and relax.

By the way, this seagull looks silly hahaha!

I was really enjoy this trip!Hope we can have other trip again!

You’re going to publish a post today. Don’t worry about how your blog looks. Don’t worry if you haven’t given it a name yet, or you’re feeling overwhelmed. Just click the “New Post” button, and tell us why you’re here.
Why do this?
The post can be short or long, a personal intro to your life or a bloggy mission statement, a manifesto for the future or a simple outline of your the types of things you hope to publish.
To help you get started, here are a few questions:
You’re not locked into any of this; one of the wonderful things about blogs is how they constantly evolve as we learn, grow, and interact with one another — but it’s good to know where and why you started, and articulating your goals may just give you a few other post ideas.
Can’t think how to get started? Just write the first thing that pops into your head. Anne Lamott, author of a book on writing we love, says that you need to give yourself permission to write a “crappy first draft”. Anne makes a great point — just start writing, and worry about editing it later.
When you’re ready to publish, give your post three to five tags that describe your blog’s focus — writing, photography, fiction, parenting, food, cars, movies, sports, whatever. These tags will help others who care about your topics find you in the Reader. Make sure one of the tags is “zerotohero,” so other new bloggers can find you, too.
